"Built like a Mack truck" is a descriptive, frequently-used phrase throughout the world! In fact, "Mack truck" is a worldwide symbol synonymous with strength and endurance.
The Mack Trucks Historical Collection exhibit with vehicles from early 1900's to 1979 can be experienced at the Mack Museum. In addition to trucks, the Museum features many interesting pieces of memorabilia, and more than 80,000 photographs. The Mack Shop located in the Macungie Assembly Operations sells just about every souvenir you can imagine, including hats, toy trucks, T-shirts, belts, and pins with the famous Mack Bulldog logo.
