ALLENTOWN, PA (Oct. 3, 2013) –

National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) driver Bob Tasca III (pictured left of the bulldog) and the Tasca race team visited the Mack Customer Center and Macungie Assembly Operations on Oct. 1 to meet employees, including Roger Johnston, vice president and general manager of the facility (pictured right of the bulldog). The Tasca team toured the operation where all Mack models for North America are assembled. Mack Trucks has been a sponsor of Tasca Racing since 2012 and provided three custom-designed MACK® Pinnacle™ Axle Back model sleepers to haul the team’s race car and equipment on the nationwide NHRA circuit. “I couldn't have asked for a better first year with a new partner than the one we have had with Mack,” Tasca said. “Mack Trucks and racing share a lot in common. Both are known for precision strength, toughness and raw power. It’s exciting for my race team to see where Mack trucks are built and fine-tuned because my team goes through the same process each time we race.” Tasca is a third-generation drag racer and vice president of the Tasca Automotive Group based in Cranston, R.I.
