02-21-2023

GREENSBORO, NC (Feb. 21, 2023) – Mack Trucks announced today that it will feature two versions of the Mack Anthem® model at the Technology & Maintenance Council’s (TMC) Annual Meeting. A Mack Anthem day cab and a Mack Anthem 70-inch stand-up sleeper will be in booth No. 1659 at TMC 2023, Feb. 27 – March 2, at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Florida.

The Mack Anthem day cab is outfitted with a Cummins Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) engine with 400 horsepower, 1,450 lb.-ft of torque and a 12-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). The Mack Anthem 70-inch stand-up sleeper is powered by the efficient Mack® MP®8HE engine with 445 horsepower and 1,860 lb.-ft. of torque. Transferring that power to the wheels is a Mack mDRIVE™ 12-speed automated manual transmission.

Both Mack Anthem models on display are equipped with Mack GuardDog® Connect, Mack’s integrated telematics solution.

Mack GuardDog Connect proactively monitors various electronic control units (ECUs) in the truck and communicates with Mack OneCall™ 24/7 service support agents. This technology enables the quick diagnosis of issues, proactive repair scheduling and the confirmation of parts, all while the truck remains on the job.

As part of the Mack GuardDog Connect bundle, customers can make parameter updates and software updates remotely through Mack Over The Air (OTA) remote programming solutions. Mack OTA is free for the first two years of ownership and can be extended by subscription following that time period.
