Mack Trucks Announces Load Finder, a Digital Solution to Turn Empty Miles into Revenue

GREENSBORO, NC (May 12, 2025) – Mack Trucks today launched Load Finder, a first-of-its-kind in the trucking industry digital freight solution created to help spot carriers reduce empty miles, boost revenue and make better and quicker decisions. The solution is not only available for Mack fleets, but for any dispatcher or fleet, regardless of the make or model of their trucks.

Using real-time data, machine learning and intuitive design to match fleets with high quality and relevant spot loads, Load Finder offers a seamless solution for carriers to unlock revenue, improve utilization and reduce the unnecessary waste of running empty. Mack collaborated with freight startup Class8, a Canadian company that has been developing innovative trucking solutions since 2015.

Load Finder is available directly through Mack Connect, Mack’s comprehensive fleet management portal, for existing customers and accessible to any dispatcher or fleet operator through macktrucks.com.

Load Finder identifies live truck and shipment data to identify driver availability, location and where the driver is next headed. It also aggregates load databases and market trends to identify the best load for each driver. Using both live data and machine learning, Load Finder also automatically generates load recommendations and market rate insights directly to the carrier’s inbox, enabling customers to negotiate with brokers for higher rates.
