Mack Defense Achieves CMMC Level 2 Certification, Strengthening Commitment to Cybersecurity and National Security
ALLENTOWN, PA (Sept. 16, 2026) – Mack Defense today announced it has successfully achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2, demonstrating its commitment to protecting sensitive defense information and meeting the U.S. Department of War’s (DoW) rigorous cybersecurity requirements.
The certification reinforces Mack Defense’s dedication to safeguarding Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and supporting DoW with secure and compliant systems and processes. As cybersecurity continues to play an increasingly critical role in national defense, achieving CMMC Level 2 strengthens Mack Defense’s ability to support current and future defense programs while protecting critical information throughout the defense industrial base.
The CMMC Level 2 assessment was conducted by A-LIGN, an authorized Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO) and recognized leader in federal cybersecurity compliance.

Developed by the DoW, the CMMC program establishes standardized cybersecurity requirements for companies within the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). The certification validates that organizations have implemented the cybersecurity practices and processes necessary to protect CUI and Federal Contract Information throughout the defense supply chain.
Achieving CMMC Level 2 positions Mack Defense to continue supporting existing defense programs while pursuing future opportunities that require certified cybersecurity compliance. The certification also reflects the company’s ongoing investment in information security, risk management and operational resilience.
