Mack Trucks' Integrated Uptime Services brings together a suite of powerful tools for fleets to monitor vehicle status and optimize fleet performance, from the desktop to the smart phone. This suite of services includes GuardDog® Connect, Mack OneCall, Mack Connect and the new My Mack vehicle application.

The launch of the new Mack Pioneer™ combines a state-of-the-art long-haul highway truck with state-of-the-art connected services and sustainability. The intent was to identify what customers need now and into the future.

Improvements to Mack's Integrated Uptime Services means it serves as the portal for gathering a rich flow of information, enabling customers to make the best decisions regarding their Mack.

GuardDog Connect

GuardDog Connect is the Pioneer's remote diagnostics and software programming service, allowing drivers and fleet managers to stay connected with their Pioneer and the Mack Uptime Center. This system alerts the driver of a critical fault and directs them to the nearest authorized service center for assistance. Through this enhanced capability, drivers can avoid lengthy downtime.

GuardDog Connect is the connectivity module on the truck that reads fault codes. If a fault code is detected, it connects to the Uptime Center with Mack OneCall, where that team can gauge the severity of the fault code and if necessary, reach out to the customer to determine if the vehicle can continue traveling or if it needs to be rerouted to the closest dealership for service.

Mack OneCall

Mack OneCall serves as the direct hotline, allowing drivers to contact a Mack professional to mitigate fault codes and other issues and avoid extended periods of maintenance caused by a delay in response time. Instead of nervously searching for a telephone number at some unknown service center, drivers find reassurance in the availability of Mack's professional assistance, which is offered 24/7.

Through a subscription to this service, drivers can make contact through one specific telephone number anywhere the road takes them. Instead of worrying about support, drivers focus on the road and remain confident, knowing that if their truck has access to round-the-clock roadside assistance anywhere in the U.S. and Canada, dispatched by Mack OneCall.

The driver also benefits from access to a dealer network with more than 400 centers equipped with the latest technology to expedite service and a robust inventory of OEM parts. These components maximize uptime and minimize downtime waiting for repairs.

My Mack App
Driving the Mack Pioneer is a personal experience, so Mack created the My Mack app as a downloadable driver app for smartphones. My Mack subscribers have access to their truck's data, including the ability to view multiple vehicle status levels and remotely control certain functionalities like temperature control and remote start. Pioneer drivers can expect even more app features in the future.
