Fleet performance portal bundled with Mack Integrated Uptime
New Mack Pioneer™ owners will reap the benefits of range of cutting-edge technology and the newest features, but one of the most important tools they’ll have at their command is Mack® Connect, Mack’s powerful fleet performance portal. Connectivity and real-time access to information is increasingly important for fleet managers, and Mack Connect is a single source for vehicle location tracking, performance data, operational analytics and diagnostics. It’s designed for fleet management and allows users to optimize fleet performance.
First and foremost, Mack Connect provides access to vehicle location information and speed history for trucks, but it also shares performance details such as time in cruise control and idle time. With Mack Connect, fleet managers can analyze individual fuel efficiency and compare that data with other drivers and trucks in the fleet. They can also use that data for better, more efficient route planning.
Fleet managers also have detailed safety-related information. For example, they will be able to see when any roll stability intervention is activated. They also will be able to see information on hard braking and driver seat belt usage. The detailed information allows fleet managers to have example-based conversations with the drivers about driving behavior. Driver coaching becomes exception-based. For example, with excessive idling, fleet managers can identify specific drivers not meeting expectations and coach them directly.
Mack Connect is built for Mack customers to provide them with more detailed information.

The Mack Connect portal also allows fleets to access GuardDog® Connect fault code information, including ranking the seriousness of he issue.
“Mack Connect brings truck data to life.” — Brandon Page, Sr. Product Manager-Vehicle Electrical and Electronics, Mack Trucks
Mack Connect dashboard shows available software updates that then can be downloaded over the air. Fleet managers can see and set vehicle parameters such as road speed limit over the air. Updates are sent to the vehicle and a notification appears on the instrument cluster. The notification will guide drivers thorough the installation process, or they can call Mack OneCall®, where an agent will guide them through the updates. This increases uptime by eliminating the need to bring the truck into the dealership for a routine software or parameter update.
Mack Connect will come as a two-year introductory offer on Mack’s new Pioneer and will be bundled with Mack Integrated Uptime.
MyMack Driver Ap p
In conjunction with the launch of the Pioneer, Mack is launching a driver app called MyMack. The app will be downloadable from the Apple Store or Google Play. Once a driver downloads the app, the fleet manager can give the driver access to the truck so he or she can remotely see information about the truck including fuel level, DEF level, oil level, non-operating lights, etc. Drivers also can turn on the vehicle climate system remotely to heat or cool the cab.
“Mack Connect enables us to provide more detailed, critical information to the fleet manager to help them do better at their jobs.” — Patrick Brown
