Hagerstown Powertrain Operations
About Us
The Hagerstown Powertrain Operations has been producing Mack powertrain components since 1961. The campus includes a 1.5 million square-foot manufacturing facility, a powertrain R&D center, and an Engine Development Lab. It will soon also be the home of a new, state-of-the-art, $42 million Vehicle Propulsion Lab.
Today, Hagerstown produces engines, transmissions and axles, as well as modular power boxes for battery-electric vehicles. Components produced in Hagerstown are used in Mack Trucks, Volvo Trucks, Prevost coaches and Volvo buses.
