What to Expect During the Negotiations Process

Mack Trucks and the UAW will meet to negotiate wages, benefits, and other working conditions. The company’s goal is to reach an agreement that provides a competitive wage and benefit package for our employees and their families, fosters stable employment at our facilities, and positions the company for sustainability and growth. Throughout the process we are committed to finding solutions to problems – solutions that work for our employees and customers.

When the negotiation teams reach an agreement, the tentative agreement must be ratified by employees. If an agreement isn’t reached, or a tentative agreement is not ratified by employees, several things can happen including negotiations resuming or the union could call a strike.
