What is Chassis Extended Coverage?

Chassis Extended Coverage extends protection for your Mack truck’s chassis systems beyond the base warranty, for additional time and mileage. Mack now offers four Chassis System plans (Driveline, Cab & Exterior, HVAC, and Safety & Vehicle Electronics)
so fleets can cover exactly what they need. All plans are serviced by Mack-certified technicians using genuine Mack parts at 400+ dealer locations across the U.S. and Canada.

What is Chassis Extended Coverage?

01 Driveline

Covers driveline components including the
engine, drive shafts, u-joints, charge air cooler,
transmission oil cooler and piping, gear shift
assembly, radiator, and related engine
accessories.

02 Cab & Exterior

Covers the truck’s structural and body
systems including frame, suspension, brakes
and wheel ends, air system, cab components
(interior and exterior), steering, and exterior
engine accessories.

03 HVAC

Covers the full heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system including the integrated parking cooler, A/C compressor, condenser, evaporator, heater core, blower motor, heater controls, and related lines and components.

04 Safety & Vehicle Electronics

Covers the chassis electrical system and factory-installed active safety technology. As trucks become more electronics dependent, these components most often require dealer-level diagnostics for accurate repair.
