Delivering a maximum of 515 hp and 1,950 lb-ft of torque, the MP13 is available in a range of ratings to power any haul. Engineered to deliver unprecedented fuel economy, the MP13 engine features a new wave piston design and combustion improvements that increase fuel efficiency by 3%.
Dynamic Overdrive
Specially engineered for the MP13 engine, the 13-speed Dynamic Overdrive technology intelligently shifts between Economy+, Economy, and Performance modes, delivering optimal efficiency while enhancing startability and hill climbing.
Enhanced Engine Brake
Updated engine brake curve gives the Mack PowerLeash™ engine brake the capability to deliver routine braking power over 400hp.
Insulated Turbocharger
Full insulation of the turbocharger unit minimizes heat transfer to the cab and improves efficiency.
